dream interpretation?

I had a dream that I was in an elevator in an old appartment building. I was with one other person (I don’t know who) and the elevator kept going up and down (fast), like it was going to crash. It was quite scary. eventually the doors opened and we jumped out before the elevator went back down. I believe I have had this dream before. Any ideas?

I believe, I’m not too confident in my interpretation, that the elevator represents the rising and falling of your emotions. The reason I think this is because it reminds me of an “emotional rollercoaster.” I’ve had a friend that has told me that everyday day felt like a rollercoaster, and it was very exhausting. Has it felt like you’re getting more and more exhausted every day and you’re just trying to find a way to get off and take a break? That’s my best interpretation I’ve got for you. I’m sorry I couldn’t have been of more help.
