dream interpretation waves crashing

Interpret my recurring dream (nightmare?)?
I keep having this recurring theme in my dreams. Usually I’m at the beach and there’s a HUGE HUGE tidal wave coming my way in slow motion and I have to grab on to something for dear life and hold my breath while the wave crashes over me. I’m never alone in these dreams. there are always a lot of other people with me.. friends and strangers.. the wave crashes over all of us.
I can’t swim and I have a feeling that might have something to do with it?
I’ve been having this recurring dream for years and years.
any good interpretations? thanks..
The wave represents a very deep concern or worry that you have been suppressing for a long time. You know that one day it will build up to become a “tidal wave” and overwhelm you.
The thing that you grab on is still undefined because you do not know what it is now.
For example, if the concern is losing a job, the thing you grab onto may be a part time self employment career.
The presence of many others means that a lot of people may be affected or hurt whne your concern overpowers you. If your concern is some kind of illness, then friends and family could be affected and involved if the illness breaks you down badly.
The way to get out of this recurring dream is to face the concern.
Think back to what it could be, and prepare the “thing you grab to for dear life”.
once you have the escape or survival plan ready, you should no longer have the dream.
