Prophetic Dream: Coming of the Lord
Prophetic Dream: Coming of the Lord
The Dream
In 1973 I had a dream about the “rapture”. It was not the “rapture” of the Church but the “rapture” of a remnant in the Church; saints living now in this present time. It was the “rapture” or birth of the sons of God. I dreamed I was in a house, in the kitchen of the house. I looked through the window and saw that it was a very dark night. Then I saw the “rapture.” They that went up were outside of the house. They were very few in number, one out of a generation, and two in a city. Those blessed ones shone liked that of fine polished gold. They ascended into the sky. They were the only light in the darkness. Yes, like stars they shone in the night as they ascended. They were the only glittering objects in a black dark night. I was disappointed because I was in the house, in the kitchen of the house. Deep inside of me I knew I was never ready to be counted amongst the sons of God. Sonship was offered to me on a platter but the price was too high to pay. The price is your very life, your spirit, your soul, your body and everything you possess. But believe me, it is worth it. However in my dream it was too much for me. In the dream I wasted my time like all of us, excluding the sons of God.
Interpretation
The house is the Church of God that turned into a religious system. Why? I found myself in the house not outside with the few that were taken up into glory, just like Enoch and Elijah, which were taken into heaven in their day. Outside the house symbolizes to suffer with Christ outside the gates. These are the ones that were ridiculed, slandered and suffered for their testimony. They shone like polished gold, prove that their faith was fully tried and tested through God’s fire. These are the ones who grew most in love; conformed to the image of Christ. Unless you grew in divine love there is no trace of spiritual growth. The only way to mature more into the image of Christ is to become more like Him. That is the only indicator and confirmation.
The kitchen is a place where much physical activity takes place to distract you to satisfy physical and fleshly needs. In the kitchen you prepare food; some people’s washing machines and dishwashers are connected in the kitchen. This is one of the most dangerous places to be! Why? In the kitchen you are worried and troubled about many things that distract you from the higher calling of God in Jesus Christ. “Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus’ feet and heard His word. But Martha was distracted with much serving, and approached Him and said, “Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me.” And Jesus answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken from her” (Luke 10:38-41, emphasis added). If you are in the “kitchen of your heart” you are worried and troubled about many things, distracted from God’s purpose for your life. This portrays the present status of the religious church-world. Instead of praying and having Bible studies preparing the saints for the work of service they distract them with all sorts of programs and false teachings telling them they will escape the day of trouble. The curse of the religious church is that they waste the precious time of the saints, causing them to be distracted. People, there are no time to waste, get your lives in order. Engage in prayer and do much reading and meditation on the Scriptures. Saints, prepare yourselves for the days of darkness and trouble is upon us when no man can work!
Why was I not taken up with the rest of the saints? I was in the kitchen of the house instead of being outside the house suffering outside of the gates that I may rule with Him. I was supposed to give Him my all, everyday but I did not. I played my time out; I wasted my time. So, I missed out on God’s best for me. Surely, you cannot neglect your responsibilities before God, because then you will be outside of His will for your life. However, you must make sufficient time to sit at the feet of Jesus and hear his word. How do you prepare yourself? You prepare yourself by spending sufficient time at the feet of Jesus. How do you go about it? Just as the apostles and church leaders of the Early Church. “But we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word“ (Acts 6:4, emphasis added).
It is first prayer then the word and not vice versa. The house of the Lord is primarily a place of prayer and then the ministry of the word.
How do we pray? We pray by giving ourselves to it. Let me explain. I had a dream many years ago about the Church of Christ in South Africa going underground due to severe persecution. Their main activity was intercession and prayer. Their persecutors became outraged with them because their intercession brought physical judgments of God on them and limit their movement. They called the power of prayer, “that thing.” The power of our prayers became a physical reality to the persecutors of the Church. We must unceasingly press in to reach that level of prayer where we bring down God’s will on earth as it is in heaven. The fruit of our prayer and intercession must become physically observable. We will only reach that level of prayer and intercession through exercising prayer and intercession until we become prayer and intercession; exercise until we become “that thing.” This is how we are preparing for the coming of Christ. This is how we press in to be found worthy to be counted among the sons of God and if not to overcome in the time of tribulation and persecution.
Preceding the ministry of the word is studying and meditation on the word. You must read and meditate on the word until the word lives in you. Why meditating on the word? The Holy Spirit mostly uses Scripture to reveal the nature and power of God and of Christ to your heart. While it is still day prepare yourselves. Now is the time for preparation. When the night fall and it is time for war it may be too late then to become an able warrior. I assure you that you will not have enough oil in your lamp then to become an able warrior of God and of Christ. You would have wasted your time.
My dream witnessed the birth of the male child in the Book of Revelation, chapter 12. Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars. Then being with child, she cried out and in pain to give birth. And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great, red dragon having seven diadems on his heads. His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and threw them on the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her Child as soon as it was born. She bore a male Child who was to rule all the nations with a rod of iron. And her Child was caught up to God and His throne. Then the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that they should feed her there one-thousand two hundred and sixty days (Revelation 12:1-6).
The woman is the Church. The male child’s birth is the manifestation of the sons of God. So, it is clear that it is the male child, the sons of God, that are caught up to God and His throne and not the woman, the Church. The woman will not escape to heaven but will flee into the desert when the dragon will start to persecute her. The woman will not be harmed but will be nourished for three and a half years, away from the presence of the serpent. However, the dragon will make war with the rest of her offspring (whoever they may be), who kept the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. So you can see that the Church cannot be in the desert and heaven at the same time. When Christ will come the woman will be in the desert. After the millennial reign of Christ, after Satan deceived the nations again and Satan is defeated, the last trumpet will sound and the dead in Christ will rise and we that are alive together with the risen ones will be caught up in glory and be forever with the Lord.
There are those that will break into resurrection life before the appointed time, like Enoch and Elijah. The manifestation of the sons of God will be the firstfruits of Christ’s second coming. Christ was the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep for by Adam came death but by Christ came the resurrection of the dead. Each one will be resurrected in his own order. Christ is the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming. There were also those who were resurrected when the tombs were open after Christ was resurrected and they appeared too many in the Holy City. Since the woman will be in the desert the firstfruits at Christ’s coming must be the male child. The rest I believe in their own order (whatever that means) the big harvest at the last trumpet.
The sons of God are those that have eagerly and faithfully pressed toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. It was those that had a faithful constant “at the feet of the Master” relationship with Jesus, just like Mary. It was those that hunger and thirst after resurrection life, like Enoch and Elijah, and which Paul pressed on toward it. “If by any means, I may attain to the resurrection from the dead. Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me” (Philippians 3:11-12, emphasis added).
Many interpret the birth of the male child in the Book of Revelation, Chapter 12 as a reference to the birth of Christ. The book of Revelation was written by the apostle John about A.D. 95, from the island of Patmos. The Book of Revelation is a prophetic revelation of the second advent of Jesus Christ and not a historic account of His first advent. Prophetic revelation is mostly an unveiling of the present and future and occasionally reveals the unknown and obscured of the past. In the year A.D. 95 the birth of Christ was a well recorded historical fact and no mystery. You do not need deep revelatory insight of well recorded history; you only need to read the account of the historical event to be acquainted with its details.
The Book of Revelation is also the unveiling of the unknown and uncertainty of the future, of that what must come to pass. One of the first things the messenger told John was, “Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near” (Revelation 1:3, emphasis added). So, the phrase “the time is near” refers to fulfillment in the near future after A.D. 95. “Keep those things” refers to the prophecy to the seven churches as recorded in chapters two and three.
For the prophecies contained in chapters 4 to 21 of the Book of Revelation the angel said to John, “Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this“ (Revelation 4: 1b, emphasis added). The prophecies contained in chapters 4 to 21 of the Book of Revelation will come into fulfillment after the prophecies to the seven churches were fulfilled as recorded in chapters two and three.
Why does Chapter 12 of the Book of Revelation look as if it can actually refer to the birth of Jesus? The answer to this question we also find in Scripture. Some events and prophecies have multiple and cyclical fulfillments. The first fulfillment is often a shadow or type of the next fulfillment. “That which has been is what will be. That which is done is what will be done, and there is nothing new under the sun” (Ecclesiastes 1:9). And, also, “That which is has already been; and what is to be has already been; and God requires an account of what is past” (Ecclesiastes 3:15, emphasis added). An example of cyclical events is days, years, and seasons. “Then God said, ‘Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years (Genesis 1:14).
It is wise to search out prophecy in the light of similar historical events. For example, Christ is the Pattern Son, a pattern or type, of those other sons of God to follow. Immediately after Jesus’ birth He was under attack of Herod; this time it will be the woman. The woman will flee to the desert and not be taken away by any rapture. The male child (the sons of God) will be caught up to God and His throne but the woman (church) will flee to the desert. The dragon will be enraged when his efforts to destroy her failed and he will go away to make war against the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. Once again Rachel will weep for her children as many will be killed in persecution. “A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, refusing to be comforted, because they are no more” (Matthew 2:18). Herod killed multitudes of Jewish children. Now we will see the fulfillment of this prophecy as multitudes of saints will have the honor to lay their life down for Christ sake in mass persecution and torture on a Global scale.
I do not understand everything concerning Christ’s return. The traditional teaching about the rapture is not far of the truth but it misses it far enough to turn it into deadly deception. You know that rat poison consists 99 percent of wheat and one percent of deadly poison.
I agree with them on most things. Everything about the mark of the beast, the judgment of God on the god of this world and world system, places and people, the beast, the false prophet is scriptural.
Those that propagate the traditional pre-tribulation rapture theory confuse the final resurrection of the dead with the coming of Christ. Christ’s return to reign for a thousand years is long before the final resurrection of the dead. People are still going to die in His millennial reign on earth. No more shall an infant from there but a few days, nor an old man who has not fulfilled his days; for the child shall be one hundred years old. But the sinner being one hundred years old shall be accursed (Isaiah 65:20). After the millennial kingdom, Satan will go free again to deceive the nations once more. In all this time people will be born and die. And after this God has set a time when living mortals will put on immortality and those whose bodies corrupted to dust in the earth will be raised incorruptible. The time difference between the coming of Christ and the resurrection from the dead at the last trumpet can be as much as 2 000 years. If this is true I want to ask those who believe the old traditional pre-tribulation rapture theory, how many final resurrections must there be? Your theory is what it said it is, only a theory or a hypothesis, nothing more, nothing less. This hypothesis is proven false. You are deceived and you deceive every one that hears you. You give them false hope. Your expectation will only come to pass if you press in to be one of the 144 000 chosen ones. Whether it is a physical or symbolic number I do not know. But the way you have chosen I am afraid you will not have prepared you and others for it. Your way is the way of a hireling that suffers from runaway syndrome; not an able soldier of Christ that is prepared to die for the cause of the kingdom if God so will.
A martyr’s crown is an exceptional honor and not a shame but I am afraid it comes with the ultimate price to pay; in most instances you will die a horrible and painful death but the crown is worth it many times over. Are you preparing yourself for it? If you are a martyr and you are under stress of excruciating pain are you going to deny Christ? I am also faced with this question, but I build visions of hope in my heart. I exercise myself in it but at the end I know it will only be the grace of God that can sustain me, nothing else. So, I am starting to pray to God for this grace. For this, I need much credit in heaven’s bank.
I am human. I have not overcome the fear of death yet. I do not want to die; in fact I want to live. However, if it ever happens that I must choose between the comfort to live or to deny Christ I will choose that martyrs crown that nobody else but only the martyrs will receive. I will remember that Christ was the greatest of all martyrs. I will remember He purchased me even the privilege to wear this crown with Him.
The consequences of the church to believe and propagate an escape out of the tribulation instead of preaching Gods ultimate goal to bring forth many sons to glory, to the full image and stature of Christ will lead millions to hell. They hold on to an erroneous doctrine of how the holy ones will escape the great tribulation instead of equipping the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ (read Ephesians 4:11-16).
Why do I say those that propagate the traditional rapture theory will lead many to hell, as much as one third of all blood washed believers? Those ones that are not strong in faith and unprepared for evil times may be deceived in receiving the mark of the beast or deny their faith in God and in Christ when their faith will be tried in the fire of persecution and torture.
You may think I am deceived, and say, “Give me scripture and verse for this statement.” “His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her Child as soon as it was born” (Revelation 12:4). The stars of heaven refer to the children of God, the household of God. I base it on the interpretation of Joseph’s dream where the stars meant the sons of Jacob (read Genesis 37: 9-11).
You may say that scripture refers to the fall of Satan and the angels that transgressed against God with him. This comes from Hebrew tradition that believes that one third of the angels fell with Satan. It is not recorded in the Old Testament and they do not believe in the New Testament. The source of their information is unknown. But let us assume they were right then I say to you: Remember the Book of Revelation is about future events that must take place and not an historic account of past events. As Satan had deceived one third of heaven’s angels resulting in God casting them out, Satan will once again deceive a third of heaven’s stars and God will cast them down to the earth. What has happened will happen again. As Satan did to the angels of God, he will do to the stars of heaven, the children of God.
How is Satan going to do it? Read our prophetic dream about the “Mark of the Beast” again but carefully and prayerfully. Satan is going to deceive some Christians to receive the mark of the beast and wear others down in persecution and torture so that they will recant their faith in God and Jesus Christ. A third of all born-again believers will leave their faith in God and Jesus Christ.
What did the Lord Jesus Christ said about it? “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another” (Matthew 24:9-10). The Lord did not refer to the unbelievers and evil doers but spoke of His own family. They will betray each other because they were not prepared for this evil day. The Lord said, “Therefore when you see the abomination of desolation spoken by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (whoever, let him understand)” (Matthew 24:15, emphasis added). When Titus destroyed Jerusalem in A.D. 70 he placed an idol on the site of the burned temple to desecrate it. It is also pointing to the end times where the Antichrist will set up an image of himself and order everyone to worship it (2 Thessalonians 2:4; Revelation 13: 14-15). In this manner the temple will be desecrated again.
Jesus said this will be the worst and most intense persecution of Christians of all times. It will be worse than the millions that were put to death by Rome and the Roman Church. “For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be” (Matthew 24:21). What happened in the past will happen again but this time more intense and on a universal scale. The first was a shadow and type of the latter to follow.
After Paul was stoned he rose up went into the city and the next day went with Barnabas to Derbe. And when they had preached the gospel to that city and made many disciples, they returned to Lystra, Iconium, and Antioch, strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and saying, “We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God” (Acts 14:21-22). This was the reality of life in the Early Church. Why will it be different in our time? “For I will show him how many things he must suffer for My name’s sake” (Acts 9:16). And again, “From the Jews five times I received forty stripes minus one. Three times I was beaten with rods; once I was stoned; three times I was shipped wrecked; a night and a day I was in the deep; in journeys often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils of my own countrymen, in perils of the Gentiles, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren; in weariness and in toil; in sleeplessness often, in hunger and thirst, in fasting often, in cold and nakedness – besides the other things, what comes upon me daily: my deep concern for the churches” (2 Corinthians 11:24-28). This was what Paul endured for the sake of the gospel and his faith in God. Paul eventually died as a martyr for Christ and his faith in God. We are moving into worse hazardous times than the Early Church or any dangerous dispensation that any church ever experienced. Paul’s life is an example of how to endure fierce persecution and in the process to take care for one another in love.
Paul’s life is also a picture of how God purged one’s faith in the fires of persecution until it is like polished gold. The fires of the great tribulation are God’s furnace that He uses in His wisdom to bring in one batch, many sons to glory. Where are we now? Like the prophet said, “Ephraim is a cake unturned” (Hosea 7:8b). We are still half-baked; we are God’s work in process. The Lord has tried us but not through fire yet. He needs to finish the process through fire. He must bake the bread on the other side also. He finished forming the vessel; He need to bake it now to make it useful and for His glory. Not all of us will die but many will.
I never meant to transfer depression and fear to your hearts but my aim was to speak the truth in love that you may be strengthened with faith and hope and yet be sober concerning the times the Church is about to face. It is only dark for the fearful and unbelieving not for us who sit at the feet of Christ. I beg you to prepare yourself by engaging in ceaseless prayers and preparation in the word of God. The night is about to fall where no man can work!
So we can conclude that the coming of the Lord and the final resurrection of the dead are not the same but will be two different occurrences at two different times. According to chapter 12 of the Book of Revelation the male child (the 144 000 or sons of God) ascended to God and His throne and not the woman, the Church. The woman will not escape into heaven but will flee to the desert where she will be fed. Satan will not succeed in bringing harm to her but to the rest of her offspring. This account is scriptural.
The Western Church is busy to miss its calling. The God of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.
